Perplexity AI Plans to Introduce Ads in Q4 to Profit from AI Search
Perplexity AI plans to launch advertising for its search application in the fourth quarter, which has been downloaded over 2 million times and responds to more than 230 million queries each month, with U.S. query volume increasing eightfold in the past year. By partnering with media and content platforms, Perplexity has introduced a revenue-sharing model that allows publishers to earn revenue through its search engine. Perplexity has also announced the adoption of a CPM model as part of its advertising strategy, and expects to include categories such as technology, health, art, finance, and food and beverage.
